LDN Transport 1.0 – Submitted to App Store

October 19th, 2010

Right, it’s been a while…

Belated and extended apologies to Tube Tracker users – it did suddenly stop working, and that was due to some unexpected issues.

Plenty of lessons have been learnt from Tube Tracker, and needless to say, they have all been used in the development of our new App – LDN Transport.

All the good stuff that was in Tube Tracker has been incorporated, plus much, much more!

Stay tuned for more information…

April 14th, 2010

It seems that something is up with the App, and it now crashes soon after establishing a network connection.

We are investigating this now, and will seek to roll out a fix ASAP.

Thank you for your patience.

Tube Tracker 1.1 Submitted for Review

March 2nd, 2010

Tube Tracker 1.1 has been submitted and is currently sitting in the review process.

We figured that the searching functionality is important, so we went straight to work on it. Just to recap the changes for 1.1:

- Facility to search by Tube Station name
- Stopped the app from rotating with the device
- Some minor UI tweaks

Keep your eyes peeled on when the update appears in your App Store notifications!

Tube Tracker Update

March 1st, 2010

First off, a bit thank you to the diverse user base who have give Tube Tracker a go!

Secondly, we have taken on some feedback, and implementing the first round of changes now. So expect the following in the next incremental release:

1) Fix the “rotation” issue
2) Provide a quicker way of browsing to your desired station

We also understand that some kind of “favourites” feature would be useful – we’ll look into how quickly that can be implemented, and it may or may not make it into the next release.

Finally, apologies to those who have clicked the link to the Tube Tracker landing page (which is still being worked on). You should now be directed to the main SkyApps page until this is fixed.

Thank you for visiting us. Thanks to the wonders of WordPress, launching the SkyApps website has been a quicker affair than anticipated, but it’ll take a while for everything to settle in and settle down.

Feedback and comments will always be welcome, along with your patience!
